Movie Review: X-Men: Apocalypse
X-Men: Apocalypse is a 2016 American superhero film based on the X-Men Marvel Comics. It is the ninth installment in the X-Men film series. Directed by Bryan Singer, the film features an ensemble cast starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn and Lucas Till. X-Men: Apocalypse premiered in London on May 9, 2016 and will be released in other countries thereafter in 3D and 2D, and in IMAX 3D in select international markets. With a budget of $234 million, the film has received mixed reviews from critics.X-Men: Apocalypse is of action, adventure, sci-fi, and fantasy genre, which runs for approximately 144 minutes. It's Rated PG-13 in most countries for sequences of violence, action and destruction, brief strong language and some suggestive images. For me, X-Men: Apocalypse is the best among all X-Men movies I've seen and is probably one of the best films of 2016. I was fortunate enough to have seen it in 4DX. All the special effects made the movie more engaging and interactive. But even without these effects, the movie still turned out great - from its plot to its casting to the use of CGI. Nothing beats the super powers of the X-Men. Engrossing, spectacular, and nothing short of amazing is how I would describe this movie. I really don't care what the critics are saying.
